Chemical Dry Pump EDP Series

It is a dry pump of the claw type for chemical applications, minimizing local condensation of process gases and accumulation of fine particles.

The dry pump EDP series is primarily used in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries for distillation and drying processes. It employs a non-contact design with counter-rotating claw rotors and a vertical pump mechanism, minimizing local condensation of process gases and accumulation of fine particles within the pump. The exhaust flow rates are available in four types: 80m³/h, 160m³/h, 250m³/h, and 400m³/h, with achievable pressures ranging from 20 to 50 Pa. Additionally, it features a torque limiter, labyrinth seal, PTFE lip seal, and heat exchanger. This pump is explosion-proof and has passed explosion resistance tests conducted by an independent external organization, complying with the European explosion-proof standard ATEX. In Japan, it is possible to retrofit with a Japanese explosion-proof motor.

New Dry Pump EDO Series Exhaust Speed 72–85 m³/h

This is a scroll-type vacuum pump that can be used in the low vacuum range for general industrial applications.

The EDO series is a scroll-type dry pump. The vacuum chamber consists of two scrolls, one fixed and the other rotating in an eccentric state, which traps, compresses, and exhausts the target gas, achieving a pressure capability of 150 Pa. It can operate continuously across all pressure ranges and features a simple structure that allows for maintenance at the customer site. It achieves high water vapor exhaust capability through a gas ballast function and reduces power consumption with a blow-off valve that bypasses gases with high motor loads near atmospheric pressure. The motor is air-cooled and supports frequencies of 50/60 Hz.
